Robert Gerrish joins our Board of Advisers

Message from Rajhev Rajkumar, GM at Small Business First.

We’re thrilled to announce that yet another small business champion has joined our Board of Advisers and wish to extend a warm welcome to long-time small business supporter Robert Gerrish.

Robert is the founder of Flying Solo, Australia’s largest community of solo and micro businesses, and brings with him decades of experience and expertise in helping small businesses succeed. He joins respected experts and small business champions such as David Koch, Peter Strong, Julia Bickerstaff and Tim Harcourt to guide and help us towards our goal of putting Small Business First.

This move comes as a result of our recent collaboration with Flying Solo - a community that has been at the forefront of the soloism movement in Australia for over 12 years; a community that gives us greater bargaining power to negotiate even better deals on behalf of our members.

Robert is the co-author of the business bestseller, Flying Solo: How to go it alone in business. He presents the Flying Solo Podcast and has been a business commentator on ABC Four Corners, A Current Affair, Sky Business, Fairfax Digital, 2UE and ABC Radio.

He intimately understands the challenges and opportunities that small businesses face and will be able to guide us immensely in how we provide the right type of advice and guidance for our community. Robert also has a wealth of experience that can help us identify more relevant deals and offers for members.

And here’s what our new adviser, Robert, has to say:

“This partnership is a perfect fit for the Flying Solo community and I’m very excited by the opportunities this union will bring to our members. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to work with the Small Business First advisory board to help grow the influence, voice and success of small business, Australia’s largest market sector.  ”

I’m sure our Small Business First members will join me in welcoming Robert to our community.
